I made a video of this when I reported it and used the computer keyboard to demonstrate. Sorry, that's what I meant is that there is a Lightworks bug with the jog with audio where it will stick in moving mode depending on the key strokes and timing. Still some input lag (less than with LW's jog-left and jog-right keys mapped) and still the jog buffer issue. Shift+L = play 1/2 speed = shuttle right 3 Right arrow = nudge right = shuttle right 1 Shift+J = play backwards 1/2 speed = shuttle left 3 R = play backwards 2x speed = shuttle left 7 Lightworks receives new input from the jog faster than it can process due to its input lag, resulting in the buffer being filled.Įdit: I have a new configuration that seems to work a lot better for the shuttle wheel: (I have Shuttle in Left 1 mapped to the key that in Lightworks is mapped to 'Jog left', Left 2 t/m 7 to 'same as lower value' - multiple functions mapped gave really awful results).īut I have this same slow reaction when using the keyboard, so I think these problems are both related to a general input lag that Lightworks shows (this led to my topic Timeline scrolling is lagging / slow). The other problem is the slow reaction of Lightworks to the shuttle. Even "hold down and auto-repeat" doesn't solve it here. Sorry for bumping an old topic but I'm still having issues with the jog buffer.

That's all assuming that I can teach myself how to program the Cypress PSoC 5 chips.

I'm going to try and program my own board to handle the buttons, trackball, and jog/shuttle and will probably use an analog device for the shuttle (potentiometer). This problem in part has changed how I am trying to build my control surface. If you have a moment could you join the Shuttle forum and drop a post in my thread that it is also happening to you? Here is the specific post: Doesn't mean there is a fix, but at least not just my system.

Well I'm glad that you are also having the jog wheel buffer issue, that means it is not just me. But I'll still fiddle with it when I get home on both the Xpress and the ProV2 It's odd that they even show it since every time I have pressed cntl or alt or shift and another key both show up in the command box. It facilitates fast forward and rewind. Those modifier keys are meant to be used in combination with another key for that single command button.
